Gay runners' club for Cleveland

In a continuing effort to offer social alternatives to the Gay residents of Cleveland, Lambda Runners is forming and actively seeking both men and women to participate in non-competitive
"Fun Runs."
The urge to see such a group form has been a long time goal for both men who are spearhead-
ing this project. Mike Crowley and Fred Brule met through the Gear Foundation Hotline while both were strongly motivated to get the project off the ground during the Spring of 1981. Collectively they have put in eleven years of running time. Mike has finished 3 Marathons and Fred has finished a 10 miler. For now they want to concentrate making

Oven holds folkdance

In Saturday, April 4th, 30 women and men ventured into the world of international folk dancing with Mickey Stern teaching such memorable dances as "Pata Pata" from West Africa, "Alunelu" from Rumania and "Alley Cat" from the U.S. of A.
A good time was had by all and the proceeds from the event went towards Oven Productions' sponsorship of the Natalie Barney Plate in Judy Chicago's Dinner Party.
Oven's next event will be a women's picnic in July.
